Stephen Dansevich MAT, NASM, ACE, ISSA
A little about me: I graduated suma cum laude & Phi Beta Kappa from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. My interest in fitness & healthy habits began when the metabolism of my youth slowed down as I reached adulthood. That interest developed into a true passion which I decided to express & share with others by becoming a personal trainer. I received my first training certification in 1996 & have since added several more, including some sub-specializations. Most recently I completed a lengthly internship to become a certified Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) Specialist, & I'm currently working on the mastery level of the Resistance Training Specialist (RTS) certification.
My training is funtional & movement based with an emphasis on optimal range of motion, stabilization & balance skills, & integrated strength.....which are important components for all fitness levels. I work with a diverse clientele that includes competitive athletes, casual exercisers, weekend warriors, deconditioned beginners, & post-rehab patients. An active lifestyle is all about movement, & healthy movement requires muscles which work well in isolation & in concert. That's where I can help. I train & practice MAT at Gold's Gym Bee Caves.
